Graphic Designer

New Cairo, Egypt

Job purpose: 

You will be accountable for designing and executing creative graphic design solutions that align with the KODE brand vision and values. You will create visually appealing and effective designs that communicate KODE's message and ensure the brand's integrity is always maintained and promoted. 

What do we expect from you?  

Design:  

  • Create original and visually compelling designs for a range of marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to: digital ads, social media graphics, newsletters, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, artwork direction and motion graphics, etc. 

  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications team to conceptualize and develop design concepts and executions that align with KODE's brand and strategic goals. 

  • Ensure that all design work is consistent with brand guidelines and maintains a high level of quality. 

  • Research and stay up to date on design trends and best practices and recommend new and innovative design concepts and techniques. 

 Production: 

  • Prepare final files for production and ensure they are of high quality and accuracy. 

  • Work with external vendors to manage the production process and ensure timely delivery of all printed and digital materials. 

Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure designs are executed to meet project objectives and deadlines. 

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including event planners, photographers, writers, and video producers, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing campaigns. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual representation. 

Continuous improvement:  

  • Stay up to date with emerging design software and technologies and recommend updates to design equipment and tools. 

  • Continuously improve design processes to ensure efficient and effective use of time and resources. 

Reports:  

  • Progress on design projects 

  • Timeline and project status updates 

  • Challenges faced during the design process and proposed solutions 

  • Budget updates and expenditures related to design projects 

  • Feedback received from clients or stakeholders and how it has been incorporated 

  • Design trends and best practices that could be applied to current or future projects 

  • Suggestions for improving the design process, tools or resources required for better results 

What do you need to perform your role?

 To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements: 

Education and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Applied Arts or a related field. 

  • 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a corporate environment or marketing/advertising agencies. 

  • Experience in designing for both digital and print media. 

Skills and knowledge: 

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Strong knowledge of design principles and best practices. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design is a plus.
