Job Summary
The Senior Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the organization. This role focuses on developing strategies to improve organizational structures, employee engagement, talent development, and performance management to align with the sporting club's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Development
Analyze the club's structure, processes, and culture to identify areas for improvement.
Partner with leadership to define and reinforce the club's vision, mission, and values.
Facilitate change management initiatives to support the organization’s transformation goals.
Develop and implement OD frameworks aligned with KODE’s strategic objectives, vision, and elite positioning.
Lead and support change management initiatives to drive cultural and organizational transformation.
Performance Management
Design and manage performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback processes.
Use performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of employees and teams.
Oversee the implementation and enhancement of the Performance Management System (PMS) and ensure a transparent, fair, and motivating performance evaluation process.
Collaborate with leadership to communicate and reinforce the PMS framework to all employees.
Policies and Compliance
Develop, review, and update organizational policies to reflect KODE’s culture and operational requirements, ensuring they are compliant with labor laws and best practices.
Culture and Values
Champion KODE’s values across all People & Culture strategies, embedding them into every aspect of the employee lifecycle.
Design and implement initiatives to build a culture of belonging, respect, and alignment with KODE’s elite standards of service and excellence.
Facilitate workshops and focus groups to reinforce KODE’s cultural values and encourage employees to actively embody them.
Engagement and Communication
Develop and roll out well-being programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional health for employees.
Partner with internal stakeholders to introduce wellness initiatives such as fitness programs, mindfulness sessions, and recreational activities.
Drive campaigns and events to celebrate achievements, milestones, and successes while fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace environment.
Analyze engagement survey data to identify areas for improvement and create actionable plans to address employee needs, particularly in wellness and cultural alignment.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational development, HR, or a related field.
Proven experience with change management and leadership development programs.
Strong knowledge of performance management systems and talent development strategies.
Experience working in a sports, recreational, or hospitality environment is a plus.
HRM Diploma/Certificate is Preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in HR and organizational development software/tools.
Familiarity with workplace culture in sports organizations.
